The Challenge
Cultivate Finance Broking was a brand-new joint venture, bringing together the expertise of Successiv (Agricultural Consulting) and Lincoln’s (Accounting). With no existing identity, Cultivate needed to launch with a strong, trustworthy brand that would differentiate them in the finance space. The challenge was to communicate their values of empathy, ethics, and clarity while appealing to a diverse audience, from farmers and first-time homebuyers to small business owners.
The Idea
To position Cultivate as a fresh, grounded, and human-centred alternative to traditional brokers. The brand strategy was designed around the idea of growth, both financial and personal, with a visual identity that feels approachable yet professional. The concept needed to weave together strength, calmness, and connection, reflecting the brand’s mission to remove the overwhelm and replace it with clarity and trust.
The Solution
Clever Octopus developed a complete brand suite, beginning with brand strategy and positioning to articulate Cultivate’s voice and vision. From there, a distinctive brand identity was created, including the logo design, a bold, modern “C” motif layered with gradient rings to symbolise growth and guidance. A full visual system was built out with business cards, letterheads, and email signatures, ensuring every touchpoint felt professional and cohesive. To support launch and client engagement, a set of versatile social media templates was designed for ongoing marketing, giving the team the tools to confidently tell their story across platforms.
